Those of you who know me well...or even if you just kind of know me...one of the things you'll know is that I'm not OCD about virtually anything. However, recording isn't one of those things. When I'm working on a "record" I almost have trouble sleeping because I think about the project so much. I'm happy to report that I went on vacation and thought about LR2 very little...for about a day...then I discovered something new that I didn't know I could do to make the recordings sound a little better. So naturally my OCD nature in regards to recordings kicked into overdrive and I spent about a half hour every night before I went to bed doing little tweaks that I'm sure nobody will ever notice...but it helped me sleep at night. As always, I'll spare you the details and suffice it to say this:
LR2 is officially done....I have no further tweaks to make...at least I should say that I promise to tweak no more...I will bite my tongue every time I think of something I could change. All I'm doing tonight is taking one final listen to the whole project. Then I think this bun is ready to come out of the oven. Thanks to those folks who have been so very encouraging while I've worked to finish this project. Your support does mean a great deal to me. I'll see everybody Sunday!
thanks for the hard work. Your a talented man, Chad Dodson.

Thanks for the hard work. You're a talented man, Chad Dodson. And a bit OCD-INSANE.

Ok the first comment didn't seem to post, so i signed in and did it again, and added that you're insane. FYI.

Josh, lately I have really been looking forward to getting to know you and your family when we move out there. Lord willing, we are going to be driving our stuff out in July, leaving here on the 5th. We are then hitting the road from here (after youth camp, on August 7th) in our VW bus, taking a 16 state journey, and planning to arrive "home" in Athens in mid September! Exciting, huh? Anyway, I'm just really looking forward to becoming friends with you and the rest of all you crazies out there. I love you all so much. - smiles
