Well, I am sure nearly everyone is keeping a close eye on the impending weather for the Ohio Valley region. In short, it does not look good for Tuesday, which is concert day for the 18 people who bought Chris Tomlin tickets.
So I guess I am saying, until we hear an official word from either Chris Tomlin (watch his web site) or from Veterans Memorial Hall in Columbus then we are all on our own judgment regarding what we do.
Let’s also pray that this storm is not as bad as predicted. Perhaps the temperatures will stay high enough to make it rain only. I know that is a real possibility for the regions along the Ohio River. But Columbus is another story at the moment.
I agree let's pray that the storm isn't as bad as predicted. Having my pregnant wife on the roads heading to and from work late at night and early in the mornings has left me with no fingernails.

I am following a thread in Chris Tomlin's website for worship leaders called "Frequency". Someone from Columbus posted a question about the weather and the possibility of whether or not they would cancel the concert. I posted in the thread and asked if they would kindly keep us updated. You can follow it yourself here: http://worshipfrequency.com/community/index.php?topic=629.0.

I havew faith in God He will provide a wonderful experience for us tonight while driving in the beautiful weather and praising him at the concert. I'm not trying to be smart, but I truly believe we all will make it to the concert safely and have a great time with God. Amen!

Stefani is on her way home from work right now and she called me and said the further north she goes, the worse it gets. She said Athens wasn't that bad, but as soon as she got past Nelsonville it started getting pretty bad. Right now in Lancaster the roads are covered and it is snowing pretty hard. We've probably already got a few inches and it's not even 8:30am.
If the concert isn't cancelled and you guys try to venture out, you know you have a place to go in Lancaster if you get stuck or the driving conditions just get too bad. Be safe!

Julie Durst just emailed saying that she called Veterans Memorial Auditorium and they told her that they were in the process of trying to decide whether to cancel the concert or not. They told her that if the concert is canceled it may not be posted on their web site, but we can call Veterans Hall at 614-221-4341.
As soon as anyone hears anything please post it for us. Thanks!!!

April just called Veterans Memorial, and Julie also sent this same email just now: The concert has been postponed, and Ticketmaster will have updated information within the next few days regarding rescheduling or refunding.
I am thankful for this decision. It is what we were praying for here this morning, because the other choices would have been to either risk our lives on the icy roads up north, or swallow the cash we paid for the tickets. Thanks be to God for giving wisdom to the powers that be.
Keep checking Ticketmaster's website, and anyone who gets the info first about the future date or the refunding, please let us know. Thanks!
